In my case, I feel impelled to bridge the gap, to leave information. (No wonder old people are verbose.) My concern is, in part, because of the fast pace of technology. Things are moving FORWARD so rapidly and it's so EXCITING, no one can be bothered with the dull past. I don't blame them.
They are right to think it's amazing. It IS. SO AMAZING.
But when you stand on the shoulders of Giants, sooner or later you may wonder about them. Then, too, in a lot of cases younger people don't get it. They misinterpret the past--at least the little part that I know. So I'll leave what little I can, and when they need it, it will be there.
Last week I finished my Dad's biography, which I began with interviews in 1989. I say finished, but it's open-ended. The very next day I found more photos to include. Here's the link.
